yeah, i'm very averse to interventions... like, maybe i could benefit from glasses, for example, but after dipping my toes in that pond and losing the things and thinking about how easily i could become weaker than i already am because of it, no, i can't go there
i'm not interested in having circuits inside my head because probably one day i'll be sitting there in the sun and i will notice suddenly it gets a little brighter and the x-rays from it make the implants catch fire inside my body, no thanks, this is inevitable in the future
and i'm not the slightest bit interested in genetic tech either
both of these things i consider to be alpha grade in software development terms, and i'm not being paid enough to potentially lose my life for some short term benefits that may not even happen at all
