Governments should be investing more in their own satellite networks. There is a place for companies but we don't want to be completely dependent on SpaceX or other companies for internet/communications from space. Some minimal network controlled by a democratically elected and controllable government should be available in my view. It's also a national security issue. Ofcourse the EU could collaborate on this.
