Still very frightened, particularly of me (and no dog ever has been scared of me), and I wonder if it's my walker? my size? my voice? Anyhow my holistic vet recommended realmushrooms and I ordered some calming chews, plus I've been thinking of having a reading with an animal communicator.
She did come out of her crate (she seems to feel safer in there) last evening and jumped around with a Wubba; she loves going for walks in the woods; she adores Pascal who is incredibly patient with her (and I think I know now why the dog in the failed adoptive home didn't like her -- she will play for hours). Her foster mom said it takes about two months for her to really come out of her shell. She's a whirling dervish when awake then a couch potato to recover.
