I write out notes that I have next to me during virtual interviews. No. 1: I'm way more relaxed if I'm not terrified that my mind will go blank and I'll forget what I wanted to say. No. 2: Writing stuff down helps me prepare. No. 3: If a prospective employer is going to dock me for glancing at my notes during an interview, they're probably assholes I don't want to work for anyway.
