I want to discuss abolition in the context of grassroots allyship. This weekend the first Gender Independence march was held in Washington, DC. A group I support was a local group providing allyship and logistical support. The march was organized mainly for trans people and the queer community but of course many allies were there; the abortion rights folks, the Women’s march and of course various BLM groups. 1/7
