Our power was out for a day and a half not too long ago and we used our Jackery 1000 to alternately run the frig and chest freezer, several hours worth all together. We also occasionally recharged it using its portable solar panels during the day. I don't think we could have continued that amount of use forever because it wasn't recharging fully, but it worked well and that is pretty much what we bought it for.
