That's another long toothed conservative talking point, FYI.
We recovered from the depression before we entered the war. That's one reason people were so reluctant to enter it. Good times were back.
Ending a war usually means recession, BTW. Less government spending. Thank gawd for FDR's policies and the GI Bill.
