Stackin Sats Ep 3 The LOKI Rig Pt 1
In Part 1 of the Loki Rig series, I take you down the rabbit hole to explain how and why the Loki Rig came to be. The Loki Rig is a Bitcoin miner with a modified power supply that allows you to mine Bitcoin using newer-generation ASIC chips while drawing power from standard 110V circuits.
This machine holds a special place in my heart—it’s the first rig I truly built. While "built" might not be the perfect term (since I essentially put a board on it and plugged it in), it was a pivotal learning experience. It gave me a deeper understanding of the software and hardware that power these machines.
If you're curious about Bitcoin mining but unsure where to start—especially since newer machines can be expensive and require more power than you have—this three-part series on the Loki Rig is for you. By the end, you'll walk away with the knowledge and confidence to build your own.
Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Stackin Sats. We’ve got a lot of work to do, so let’s get stackin’!
