A LN wallet concept does not exist per se, if you talk about a non custodial LN wallet, what you really have is an embedded node in your device so in order to check the balance you just would check the balance of the channels and that information is confidential and only the nodes related to the channel can see. If the node has L1 funds, then thats like a normal bitcoin wallet that can be tracked
