Maybe it's the Ambien talking, but just doing a bit of reading on Ayn Rand's philosophy of objectivism, and what I'm getting is this:
We exist because we exist.
We're conscious of things because we're conscious of things.
A person's only value is in their productivity, and their productivity is what's supposed to make them happy, everyone and everything else be damned.
