Let's talk sharpening!
Sharpening is a pretty big topic in the woodworking community.
Which system do you use?
Personally I have the DMT diamond stones in three grits (coarse, medium and fine).
I also have a japanese waterstone (3000-8000 grits) for when I need to plane weird grain directions and I need a smaller burr.
For the stropping part, I used to use a strip of leather with fine compound, but I find that a buffing wheel on my grinder with green compound works faster and better to remove the burr and make the bevel the shiniest.
