Update: He and his family are safe. No damage to their house apart from some water leakage around the windows. No water or electricity. Winds are still around 50mph. A state of emergency is still in effect so he cannot check on the state of affairs in the nearby city of Grenville. They're also not yet sure if the school they built there survived, but are hopeful that it wasn't too badly damaged.
