Did you know that Tomatoes are perennial? You could theoretically overwinter them indoors in a pot in a cooler spot. However, since tomatoes grow pretty quickly, it seems more efficient to start them indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost day. Plant them outside only after temperatures are stable above 10°C.
