So crazy thoughts before going to sleep:
One of the things on my mind on how the Nostr project could fail apart from spam is not having node infrastructure. Like let’s say next years there is not a lot of growth or support and people stop building on the project and stop paying for nodes and they shutdown.
I know that we have the meme of decentralised computer for the world (from ethereum), but if we strip the terms such as blockchain, token and all the other crap it would be cool to have on top of Bitcoin in the Nostr layer a decentralised node computing network for computing paid in zaps.
What I mean to say is I currently do not store Nostr posts on my home server. I don’t really care for that, however I would totally allocate part of my homeserver space to a storage and computing for services for Nostr, while not being interested in running a node.
Something like a node that is actually a pool of hardwares computing to be used for Nostr applications.
Does this exist? Is this stupid?
I suppose enterprise solutions are much more efficient at this
