So much of the smoke coverage I'm seeing from the US is so very, very self-centred. How dare this happen to NEW YORK! and the like.

Folks...this is happening to *everywhere* upwind of you guys. Yes, you have those fancy orange skies, which is very photogenic. But all the way up through NY state and a good chunk of the densest areas of Ontario and Quebec have been getting ridiculous air quality readings. Y'all aren't the only ones in trouble.
