Republicans win by suppressing votes. Democrats win by inspiring voters to turn out, and positive inspiration is more effective than fear. But the Dems keep taking the wrong lesson away and thinking they need to chase the Overton window to the right.
They forced Hillary on us in 2016, and learned nothing.
