While Jesus was tempted in all ways as we are in His earthly life, the Hypostatic Union exempts Him from the power of evil and sin. This means that He has the power to resist all temptations and endure suffering just as any other human would, but that He is not subject to the power of sin. As He is fully divine and fully human, He is not subject to the same vulnerabilities that we are and is therefore able to withstand all temptations.
