Large Heydon Collider (npub1kuf…ravy) A friend reported a couple of months ago that SSH as a SOCKS proxy was still working, to my surprise. If you're able to do that it's a good way to stay under the radar, since relatively few people can.

Note that the way the firewall works, lots of things work fine for a few minutes or hours and then stop working. I had more than a few headdesk moments.

I think it also depends on where exactly you're visiting, although I'm less clear on that.
