reeeeeelman (nprofile…9cjg) Zergling_man (nprofile…pltp) ✙ dcc :pedomustdie: :phear_slackware: (nprofile…3hg5) cmus is a reasonable music player. You tell it where the music is and then you tell it to play the music and it plays the music. I shove it into screen and it disappears, it doesn't ever take up the whole screen, it takes orders over a socket and I can bind keys to it in the window manager.
This was one of the reasons I liked the N900 so much: it had a physical keyboard, so I didn't have to look away from the road while driving to change songs, and it was pretty open so I could run cmus on it by just installing a C compiler and then compiling cmus.
