I have to be real, I wouldn’t tell ANYONE irl about being a MAP, especially if you’re in a relationship with an AAM. I know you want people to know about you and be supportive but there’s no telling how people react to or use that info. I told someone I had been best friends with for over a decade who initially was very supportive but when the friendship broke down they used it as a source of contention and I found they were telling people they had no right to tell those things to. Online friends? Sure, go nuts. Real life friends in connection to your family and work place? Just keep it to yourself.
