#MiniaturePainting tip!
Painting White:
Whenever I want to paint something that looks white, I actually use Vallejo Sky Grey. It has good coverage, but no grainy or chalky texture.
If I want to do an edge highlight? I use Schmincke Titanium White. The tube lasts forever, it’s water-based, and again isn’t chalky or clumpy.
If I want to thin down white paint or make a white glaze, I use Liquitex white ink. It acts as a great medium.
