ninja8tyu (nprofile…r203) It depends on how many joints you want moving. If you want the fancy super-high-precision shit, it'd take Lighthouse tracking, which is affordable for regular people but still pretty expensive (~$2k I think).

The less precise stuff, iirc what Hololivers use for 3d without going to the studio, is a lot cheaper, but prone to drift and not as accurate. There you have off-the-shelf options like Mocopi, or the option to make your own trackers using 3d printing, some soldering and some esp32/8266 devboards and your choice from the supported IMU options in the SlimeVr project. Either way, these end up being ~$300-$400.

I spent a bunch of time making a set of SlimeVr trackers to see what it was like a couple of years ago. Pretty neat, but kind of a pain to put on trackers all over your body just to stream/hang out in vrc for an hour.
