I had an ex-friend do that to me. Somehow we'd been friends for over 30 years and they hid the fact that they were racist.
And during Brexit they went off on this whole rant on me about immigrants and I'm just like "You realize you're talking to an immigrant right?" (I immigrated to Canada.)
