Also, my controversial, but simple, take on the problem of old addresses being broken can be expressed like:
"I accept that either Satoshi, either who obtain the Satoshi's keys or either who break the satoshi's keys will move eventually his bitcoin, and dont see any broken bitcoin rule on that".
If eventually our sons will experience the risk of ECDSA being broken, they will move SPONTANEOUSLY to another address format and will be a soft fork.
