My daughter and grandkids spent their day protesting at the Humboldt County courthouse.
I got a text asking if we could drive by and honk in solidarity.
My husband wanted to go so bad that I agreed to pack us all in the warmed up car, and we could go. Even though he is sick. He agreed that we all have to stay in the car.
We managed to get there, while the protest was still in progress, so I could honk the horn, Summer could bark and her pal could wave, and peace sign, out his window.
I circled around a second time so they could do it again.
We drove through a local coffee shop for hot chocolate on the way home.
Made our day.
Now he is tired but happy.
