Only a few years after Google began getting almost as exploitative as Apple in its app-store oversight, the company says it's settling a multiple-state complaint over #PlayStore policies by expanding "user choice billing" (meaning developers don't have to hand over 15 or 30% of in-app transactions as a service fee to Google), letting devs show different pricing options in-app, and simplifying app sideloading.
