npub1k4h3enjuyd653dteu3g36wefyl05ulfrletrv2uuhwk6zlgfw6qsy7ctqz (npub1k4h…ctqz) yes and yes. 70 years ago, the word "computer" referred to living humans doing computations on paper. They have been completely and utterly automated away by digital computers, and yet you don't see lots of people who would want to compute stuff on paper out of jobs. On the contrary, the advent of digital computers create metric shitloads of jobs and enormous markets.
Same happens to everything else in every area out there. Progress gives more people access to markets, not less. It lowers the entry barriers. Machines will never provide _all_ of the labour, because machines create more labour opportunities than they take away.
