Tesla's do deserve their position as the most dangerous car to their passengers.
I just watched a 96 year old try to figure out how to get out of the front passenger seat.
First - the seat belt release is very difficult to find, even harder to get fingers onto, and yet harder to push to release.
Then there is the door open button (and I' not talking about the mechanical one that is often impossible to find even when the car is not on fire.) The door open button has no distinctive texture or color. There is merely a dim, thin grey line that says "there might be something here".
Even Steve Jobs would have rejected that design as excessively minimalist.
