Problem was, my boss (like everyone else) was fed up with her shenanigans. I bit my tongue as she got the mild chewing-out that he'd been waiting for an excuse to give her.

Eventually I did take pity on her and said, "I'll change it back if you need me to," and my boss was like, "Oh. Well if it was you, then it's fine." 😁

(It helps that I was always fixing his stuff.)
