She's really smart. I agree that Garland's too "by the book", almost an over-correction to Bill Barr's overreach at Justice under TFG. Wray, too, was too timid at FBI. But, these men are basically more loyal to the institutions than they are to any single president, which is, to my mind, at least one good thing about their continuing their tenures under Biden.
