I think it is partially that many bitcoiners live in a bubble. The dude is president of the United States and he has a lot of things going on right now. The bitcoin wish list is not the first thing on his mind.
And since when is bitcoin about expecting governments to do things for people? It's more about what he *doesn't* do.
