🇨🇦 Toronto's first Black female police superintendent, Stacy Clarke, has been demoted after admitting to helping Black officers cheat to secure promotions. During a hearing, Clarke confessed to taking photos of confidential interview questions and sending them to six Black police officers vying for sergeant positions.

She justified her actions by claiming it was a "desperate effort to level the playing field," as she felt those officers were not given a fair chance in the promotion process. Clarke mentioned her personal experiences of racial inequality as contributing to her decision.
