"content": "Lone Wolf \u0026 Cub vol. 2. I'm not sure I'll have interesting things to say about each volume of Lone Wolf and Cub as I progress, already some of the stories seem to blend into each other. Vol 1 ended on \"The Assassin's Road\", an inception story of sorts which depicted Itto Ogami's initial decision to rebel against the Shogunate and take his infant son along with him on this dark path. Vol 2 doesn't add much in terms of backstory, but does highlight some recurring aspects of his assassination methods, in particular the idea of letting himself be captured so he can get close to his target. Ogami's son Daigoro also gets a bit more airtime and there are hints of him becoming more fleshed out as a character. All in all a good read.
