Yeah, pretty shocking news... I see a parallel there between this and Ryosuke Horii case. (Y:LAD and Infinite Wealth director, also he was the one who brought the karaoke minigame to the series starting from Y3, so he is basically the legend to the franchise, as well as Toshihiro Nagoshi). He also had the cancer during the development of Y6, but fortunately it turned out to be good and he recovered. Hope that this will be the same for Kiryu. Though I don't really think RGG Studio will be that brave to kill such a character anyway
