those tourists who take those kind of cruises are likely well-traveled already, and have been to many exotic and cool places. (which you probably haven't visited)
i get it that you feel working in the arctic is a privilege (yes, i get it well, wouldn't mind myself 😁😊🧊), but to those tourists it's likely just one more place they get to tick off on their bucket list. next month, next year something else.
