In general, batteries like to be stored about half full, which is why it’s shipped at 60%. They also don’t like to be fully discharged. If you can keep them between about 40% and 80%, you’ll maximise their life.
Obviously if you know that you’re going to use it heavily tomorrow then charging it fully is fine, but if you’re just going to keep it for emergencies then it’s better to not have it fully charged.
