Many new users are joining NOSTR. And the topic of influencers, likes, and subscribers comes up again. It's always a question for those who are new to NOSTR about this, since centralized social networks are based on these parameters.
In my opinion, NOSTR is not geared towards influencers, advertising, and content creators. It is geared towards interaction between people and mutual help. There will be no ads, so there will be no revenue sharing with content creators. The form of remuneration is zaps, and the incentive to zap content created by someone is if that content is useful or helped the person in some way.
With that, I can only imagine remuneration for content creators through the provision of a service. Where the service is the creation of content for learning or entertainment of the target audience and charging for access to the content, like YouTube members, for example.
I raise this issue because we need to start thinking about applications and features with this objective. NOSTR will only become big if it is financially viable.
