Growing up with "easy desktop publishing" means I've never been impressed that something was "typed" or that it had little inset photos. I could do that. Anyone could.
I do think this gloss of professionalism was used to manipulate, and add legitimacy to nonsense. Human-written nonsense.
Can we hope young people will just have a different take?
Nonetheless we all need to learn.
