these thing are men over flowing with what has allways been seen and interpreted as evil spirits or demons, and are begging you to kill them, humans are territorial violent creatures by their nature that will strike out instinctually at evil. but that nature is being suppressed. the true evil is not the overt malevolence on display but the absents of a human retaliation, that's there true goal.
