i don't mind insults, people can insult me all they want. i'm talking about how it's hard to avoid seeing hate, makes it hard to have faith in humanity (and i'm already a bit of a nihilist) seeing how eager so many people are to use their freedom of speech to make others feel unwelcome and narrate their own supremacy. kinda reads as hypocritical and self-defeating, to me
