I watched an episode of TV today where after an ugly divorce, a man with a history of violence has a restraining order put on him keeping him away from his ex-wife and daughter. He uses optical illusions to pretend to be his daughter’s imaginary friend and tried to turn her against her mother. He eventually kidnaps the daughter.
This is not a prestige drama, it’s Batman The Animated Series from 1992 🔥
