For young people wondering how old people's reminisces work, I can only speak for me but there's always a trigger. For example, last night I dreamed that my English term paper was due in 2 days and I hadn't selected the topic. If you've noted my recent quotes are all Black Feminism, so in the dream that was my subject. But it was supposed to be persuasive and I was trying to figure out how to write for my white male professor. 😒
Then I moved on to French finals. Didn't say it made sense. 😉
