The issue I have with both the Tonie and Yoto players is that you have to buy the figurines or cards to get audio to play. What if you want to play content from the local library or mp3s you’ve acquired elsewhere?
I looked into making an Alexa skill that would make it easy but then you have to worry about locking down all the other features of that device.
Is there an OSS that lets you create a similar experience on a raspberry pi?
