AlbyGo is a mobile wallet you can connect funding sources to with NWC like AlbyHub or coinos. So for amethyst it doesn't work because the sats aren't in AlbyGO to use.
AlbyHub is what you want to use to connect to amethyst. There is a AppStore in AlbyHub that should have amethyst listed and will walk you through it.
