Well, the impressive thing is that anyone can host and moderate their own forums, and that they can do so without permission, and that the forums can even be completely private (not reachable over the Internet). It literally costs nothing to run a Nostr relay and is very easy to do because Nostr does not require fully-redundant storage to work, since you can read from each other's storage.
It's pretty awesome, but much more difficult to build, so we're moving slower.
