I don’t really know what Fauci was up to, I was adding color from someone on the ground. My memory was there was an investigation but it was basically just the lab saying “it wasn’t us, trust me bro” 😂
I understand the heightened interest for whether it was a lab leak, you want to prevent the next leak, but (pure speculation) this was probably 1 or 2 people who ignored a rule or made a stupid mistake. That’s really hard to prevent but I’m interested to see what this scientist in the article comes up with.
