If you let the shader compilation to the end, games on windows haven't shader compilation stutter normaly, too.
Of course if the game has a bad engine or the Devs didn't make good a job (for example by Dragons Dogma 2) it's different.
Atm i'm playing Ghost of Tsushima on my Windows and it runs great.
I agree that linux Gaming is very close to windows Gaming nowadys but for me it isn't on the same level because some techs don't work my gaming linux. For example HDR.
