When police sketch artists draw a bad guy, how do they do it? I don't mean the artist, I mean the person doing the describing. I've been married for 26 years. I know what my husband looks like and can easily conjure up an image of him in my head. But aside from knowing the color of his eyes and hair, I wouldn't know where to begin with the rest.
Is there a book of starter faces to choose from and say, "That one, but thin out the nose and add a chin dimple"? Am I the only one befuddled by this?
