I didn’t really follow his story until recently, but I want to remind libertarians that while we believe in creating conditions that allow the free market to flourish, we still have to consider the law.

Currently, the law prohibits the buying and selling of drugs. Even if we disagree with these laws, we are still obligated to follow them. If we want to see change, we need to get involved in politics and work through the political system—especially on issues like the drug trade.

The government has the power to crack down hard on drug-related activities. It will use all its resources to bring the hammer down when it comes to drugs.

There are rumors that governments and intelligence agencies are involved in the drug trade and don't want any competition because it generates billions of dollars for them.

Hollywood has also glamorized the drug trade, making it seem enticing to those who make quick money from selling drugs or even hosting related websites. These portrayals often create an illusion of invincibility, but it’s important to remember that the consequences are real.

If you're a programmer working for such a website, think twice. The drug business is dangerous, and as Trump has pointed out, even if you're innocent, you could still find yourself caught up in the system. The judges are often unforgiving and also very corrupt and possibly involved in the drug trade. You could end up isolated and facing serious consequences with no one on your side.

Don’t risk your life for a decade or more in prison. In some countries, there may not be a Trump to save you.

Get involved in politics and support libertarian parties and candidates.
