I’ve worked in door to door, 3+ hour sit down, run call centres, written scripts, hard-closed, soft closed and done B2B work. The only thing which really matters is the overall customer experience.
I currently run a small business where I sell + deliver the service. I like this because I know how to explain the service which is going to be provided.
I no longer need to close and my closing ratio is around 70% of appointments close. If they don’t it’s usually because I’m the wrong service.
When you deliver the service - you never need to lie. And this is what really draws people in.
